Hi, I’m Brenda—just a good ole Southern, Christ-following gal who loves her family, sweet tea, Chick-fil-A, and soaking in every moment life has to offer. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me watching old movies, reading my Bible, or spending time with the people I love most.

I’m married to my high school sweetheart, Greg, and we have two beautiful daughters, Jacquelyn and Kaylyn—who made me a proud “dance mom.” These days, one of my greatest joys is being a grandma to my two beautiful grandbabies. They have my whole heart and remind me every day just how fast time flies—and how important it is to capture every season of life. We also have our sweet pup, Billy, who keeps things fun around here.

My family is my heart, my biggest support system, and of course… my favorite people to photograph.

I’ve lived in Wilmington and the surrounding area my whole life. I fell in love with photography back in high school, and what started as a passion has grown into something I truly feel called to do.

I love all types of sessions, but my favorites are families, couples, and seniors. I’m especially drawn to the candid moments—the real smiles, the laughter, the little in-between moments that mean the most.

I truly love meeting new people, making new friends, and helping you create memories that will last a lifetime.

I studied photography at Cape Fear Community College under the late Dick Parrott, a highly respected local photographer. I continue to grow and learn through online courses and staying up to date with new trends and techniques. I’m also a proud member of PPA and PPNC.

I’ve been blessed to have my work published in a national photography magazine and recognized in several photography competitions, which has been such an honor.

At Brenda Brinson Photography, my goal is simple—to tell your story in a beautiful and meaningful way. I want every client to feel taken care of from start to finish. My style is light, airy, and fresh with a touch of editorial, but always customized to fit you.

I mainly serve Eastern North Carolina, but I’m always willing to travel wherever your story takes me.
